Amit has over 24+ years’ experience in Apparel Manufacturing, Textiles and Value chain strategy, of which 15+ years have been at Technopak.

At Technopak, Amit leads four divisions : Apparel Operations, Textiles, WGSN and Skilling, and is responsible for 50-60% of Technopak’s revenue. His real passion and expertise lie in Apparel Operations where he is regarded as one of the foremost specialists in the Indian sub continent.

Prior to joining Technopak, Amit has been engaged with apparel manufacturing firms at various positions from Sewing coordinator to Production Manager to Factory Manager. Amit has also been a part of start up operations of two of the Arvind mills plants – Knit Garments at Ahmedabad and Formal Shirts factory at Bangalore.

Amit holds a PG Diploma in Garment Manufacturing from National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi and has a Bachelor’s in Textile engineering from T.I.T.S, Bhiwani, India. A technology and learning enthusiast, Amit is certified in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. He is currently completing a 8 months EDP for Transformational Leadership from XLRI
